COMPANY LIPOVICA WITH PARTNER INNOVATION NORWAY IN A PROJECT OF ALUMINUM RECYCLING PROJECT AND PRODUCTION GREENING
Lipovica, a manufacturing company with a long tradition in the production of aluminum radiators, focuses on sustainability and more environmentally friendly production by introducing aluminum recycling processes.
The roots of Lipovica date back to 1968, when the production of the first line of radiators started and the company, by developing technology and improving the production process, reached the high serial production for which it is known today and what helped conquer the markets conquered all over the world. During the decades of its existence, LIPOVICA owes its development to a high-quality product with the “Croatian Quality” label, quality workers, experts and their knowledge, which were and are the basis of this successful factory.
With the project partner, the financial mechanism Innovation Norway, Lipovica is launching a project called “Recycling and greening of the production process in Lipovica” which will strengthen the value of its production.
The project is therefore supported by the Norwegian investment fund “Norway Grants” within the business development and innovation program managed by Innovation Norway. The aim of the project is to enable the company to be more competitive, as well as to create new jobs and reduce the carbon footprint.
By introducing new technologies, Lipovica will apply the process of secondary aluminum recycling in the production process, but will also offer new products on both the European and world markets and will be the first Croatian producer of extruded aluminum profiles.
The equipment and technologies used within the project will enable Lipovica to launch new recycled products, raise awareness of the local and wider community as well as employees, thereby improving the company’s competitiveness.
